Frequently Asked Questions

A gentle guide for your journey back to yourself

What is Arae Experience?

Arae Experience is a space to pause. A sanctuary where youare invited to slow down, breathe deeply, and
gently reconnect with yourself, with nature, and with what truly matters

Why does this place exist?

It was created from a simple intention: to offer a space of care. A space where people can rest from the noise of the world, and remember a quieter, more grounded way of being.

What will I experience here?

There is no pressure, no fixed expectation—only a gentle invitation to explore. You may walk through the forest, sit in silence, or take part in meaningful experiences such as permaculture, forest bathing, textile art workshops, birdwatching, and other nature-based practices. Each moment is an opportunity—to feel, to learn, to create, and to return to yourself.

Do I need to follow a schedule?

No. This is your time. You are free to move at your own rhythm, choosing what feels right for you in each moment.

Do I need to follow a schedule?

No. This is your time. You are free to move at your own rhythm, choosing what feels right for you in each moment.

Can I come alone?

Yes. Many come alone—and often discover that in the quiet, they are not alone at all. This is a safe and supportive space for personal journeys.

Is this place about luxury?

Not in the usual sense. Here, the richness is found in simplicity—fresh air, natural surroundings, meaningful silence, and genuine human connection. A quiet, understated luxury that is felt rather than shown.

How long should I stay?

As long as you feel called to. Sometimes, it takes time to soften, to unwind, and to truly arrive within yourself.

What about food?

Meals are prepared with care, using simple and nourishing ingredients. Food here is not just to eat—but to support your body gently as you rest and restore.

Can my dietary needs be supported?

Yes. Please share your needs with us beforehand, so we can hold space for your body with the same care we hold for your experience.

Will I be connected to the outside world?

Connection may be limited—and that is part of the experience. Here, you are invited to slowly disconnect from distractions, and reconnect with something deeper within.

What if I feel uncomfortable or emotional?

That is welcome here. This is a space where you are allowed to feel—without judgment, without needing to hide. Sometimes, healing begins simply by allowing what is present. Through both stillness and gentle activities, you may find new ways to understand and hold your emotions.

Are there animals or sounds of nature?

Yes. You may hear birds, insects, or the morning call of roosters. These are not disturbances, but part of the living rhythm of the place. Many of the birds here are naturally curious and comfortable around humans, and at times, you may experience gentle, close interactions with them—an intimate reminder of your connection with the natural world.

Can I come with someone I love?

Yes. Whether you come alone or with others, this space invites deeper connection—both inward and with those around you.

Do I have to join activities?

Yes. Whether you come alone or with others, this space invites deeper connection—both inward and with those around you.

What should I bring with me?

Bring what makes you comfortable. But most importantly, bring your willingness—to slow down, to feel, and to be present.

What is the intention of this retreat?

Not to fix you. Not to change you.
But to gently remind you of who you already are—beneath the noise, beneath the pressure.

Will I take something home from this experience?

Yes—beyond a sense of calm and clarity, you will also carry something tangible with you. Through selected workshops such as textile art, natural crafts, or other creative practices, everything you create is yours to keep. These pieces are not just objects, but meaningful reminders of your journey—something you can bring home, use, and reconnect with long after your stay.

What might I take home within myself?

Perhaps a quieter mind. A softer heart. A deeper breath.
And a sense of connection that stays with you, even after you leave.
