Arae Experience Agreement

Please read our terms and conditions carefully before booking your stay at our cabin retreat.

General

Arae Experience is a sanctuary thoughtfully created to restore a sense of calm and clarity in the midst of life’s constant motion. As the pace of modern living accelerates, many of us find ourselves gradually disconnected—from our inner selves, from meaningful relationships, and from a deeper sense of purpose. More than just a place to stay, Arae Experience offers a space to pause, to breathe, and to gently return to what truly matters. Set within a peaceful natural environment, every element invites you to slow down and live with greater awareness—free from pressure and distraction. Through carefully curated experiences such as emotional reflection, mindful breathing, grounding practices, and quiet moments of stillness, you are supported in reconnecting with yourself in a genuine and lasting way. For those who choose to stay longer, a simpler rhythm of living unfolds—where time is not something to chase, but something to fully feel. This is not about escaping life, but about rediscovering it with renewed presence, deeper balance, and a sense of peace that stays with you long after you leave.

Booking

The payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined below and shall be binding on all guests,
whether or not a booking form is signed.

Rates

Rates are based on occupancy by 1 or 2 guests using one room. Additional guests or the use of extra bedrooms will incur a surcharge. Children up to 2 years old stay free when using a baby cot or sharing a bed with parents. Baby cots and a highchair are available free of charge.All rates are in IDR and include government taxes and service fees. A 25% deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable on arrival by cash or card (Visa/Mastercard).Payments can be made in IDR or USD (US Dollar).

Included in the rate:
• Normal use of water and electricity
• Tea and coffee
• Healthy and herbal beverages
• Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Housekeeping service (on request)
• Trash disposal (on request)
• Fresh waterWe also encourage guests to try snacks and small food products made by the local community. While these are not included in the package, purchasing them directly supports local livelihoods and creates a meaningful positive impact.

Health & Dietary Information

To ensure a safe, comfortable, and personalized experience, guests are kindly requested to inform our team in advance of any relevant health conditions, allergies, dietary restrictions, or specific food preferences.This includes (but is not limited to):
• Food allergies or intolerances
• Medical conditions that may require special attention
• Dietary choices (vegetarian, vegan, etc.)
• Foods or ingredients that should be avoidedWhile we will do our best to accommodate your needs with care and attention, Arae Experience cannot be held responsible for any health-related issues arising from undisclosed conditions or dietary restrictions.

Transportation Service

Guests will receive a complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off service as part of their stay.
Please inform our team in advance of your flight details so we can arrange a smooth and comfortable transfer.

Alcohol & Smoking Policy

Arae Experience does not provide or serve alcoholic beverages. We focus on offering healthy and herbal drinks as part of our experience.
Arae Experience is a non-smoking environment. Smoking is not permitted inside cabins or in shared spaces. If needed,
please use designated smoking areas provided by our team.

Housekeeping Policy

To respect your privacy, housekeeping is only provided on request, free of charge. Please notify us one day in advance if you'd like our team to clean your cabin. Service hours are between 08:00 AM and 15:00 PM.If no request is made, our team will reach out after 5 nights to offer cleaning, fresh towels, or linen changes.Excessive cleaning required upon departure may incur an additional fee

Cancellation Policy

• A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
• All payments are non-refundable.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or early departures.

Occupancy / Number Of Guests

Guests must provide accurate information about the number of people staying in the cabin. If more guests arrive than stated in the booking,
Arae Experience reserves the right to refuse entry or charge additional fees. All guests must present valid ID or
passports upon check-in for registration, as per local regulations.

Complaints

If you experience any issues during your stay, please contact our Front Office immediately so we can resolve the matter as soon as possible.

Sound Policy

Due to the hillside location, sound carries easily. Please be mindful of neighbors and keep noise to a minimum,
especially in the evening and early morning.

Nature & Environment

You are staying in a natural environment where insects and small animals like cicaks and geckos are part of the landscape.The surrounding scenery will vary with the seasons — expect lush greenery during the rainy season (November to May) and drier landscapes from May to November.As part of this natural setting, you may hear the sound of roosters crowing in the early morning and birds singing throughout the day. These are part of the living landscape around you, and we kindly ask for your understanding as you are staying close to the forest and an environment that remains pure and alive.

Animal Visitors

As part of our natural setting, you may encounter birds during your stay. They are part of the surrounding environment and may sometimes come close to cabins or communal areas. We ask that guests respect and enjoy their presence as part of the natural ecosystem.

Damage, Loss & Theft

Guests are responsible for any damage to or removal of cabin inventory during their stay. This includes, but is not limited to, furniture, decor, appliances, linens, and other items belonging to the cabin.Missing or damaged items may be charged after checkout.
We kindly ask guests to treat the cabin and its contents with care and respect.

Safety & Liability

Arae Experience is located on a hillside in a rural environment with natural features, public village roads, and varying levels of height. While we take great care to provide a safe and well-maintained environment, guests remain fully responsible for their own safety, actions, and personal belongings during their stay.Please exercise caution when using stairs, paths, uneven ground, and other natural features, and take care when enjoying any of our facilities. Children must be supervised at all times.By booking and staying at Arae Experience, guests acknowledge and accept that Arae Experience, its owners, and staff cannot be held liable for any injury, accident, illness, loss, or damage to persons or property, except in cases of proven gross negligence on our part.Arae Experience is not responsible for events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, power outages, or actions of third parties.
